From Punta Mita, join guides such as Ruben, Chuy, or Johnny for a three-hour Marietas Islands trip. Swim 80 to 100 meters through a natural tunnel to Hidden Beach, then snorkel or visit Playa Nopalera. The covered boat holds no more than eight people.

Meet Alejandro, Alex Jr, or Diego at the beach in Punta de Mita for a private two-hour surf lesson. You’ll learn balance, pop-up technique, ocean safety, and wave selection, with boards and rash guards supplied. Lessons begin at 10am or 5pm.

Ride a gentle, well-kept horse through Higuera Blanca, jungle trails, and Litibú Beach with guides such as Ricardo and Carlos. The 1.5-hour outing includes ranch animals, bottled water, transport from selected pickup points, a tequila tasting, and optional paid photos and lunch.

Fly across 10 zip lines above the jungle near Higuera Blanca, including Banderas Bay’s longest line. English or Spanish guides such as Christian, Miguel, Carlos, and Jerry handle the safety gear and instruction. “We went ziplining snd signed up online. I received a call shortly after arranging transportation. Everything was smoothly coordinated. The drop off place was beautiful. The ziplines were very tall and long! We were impressed. Views of the ocean were beautiful. Guides were all very nice and helpful. I gave 4 stars only because I was hoping for pictures but they will remain in my memory :). Afterward, the tour included complimentary chips and salsa, which were delicious and tequila tasting, which we opted out of but was a nice offer. From Punta Mita, you’ll cruise 15 to 20 minutes to the Marietas Islands with a group of up to eight. Guides Johnny, Jesus, and Reuben lead snorkeling, cave viewing, and a stop at Playa Nopalera. Bring a long-sleeve shirt since sunscreen is not allowed.
